Being slow is ok

My son just had his first tee ball game. These are a group of 4-5 year old kids learning to play baseball. My son I think is the slowest kids on the team. His legs are moving hundred miles an hour, but his body is going no where. I’m not trying to hate but I’m just sad because I know he got his speed from me. My wife when we were dating she would come out to my softball games. The first game she watches, after the game her first question to me was, “why don’t you run faster?” I was hurt because I was running as fast as I can. All my life people have said, “Why don’t you run faster.” My son, I hope will grow out of it. If he doesn’t that ok, least I know, I will have someone to run with me, while everyone is ahead
